Along Again???

Sorta of! My husband went back to England today for the last time without me. His visa was finally approved ( 8 months later). Now we are waiting for the paperwork to be sent to London. This process should take about 2 months. Then he will come home to me and the boys for good! It was so hard taking him to the airport knowing the we would be apart for an undetermined amount of time. I have finally adjusted to living with another person, and I actually love it. I have no idea what I will do with myself. I think I have a ghost in my house. It really does not help. Also I am not used to living in a house with so many doors by myself. When I lived in the condo it was a lot more secure. Only one door in and out, 6th floor. I have Brinks, but I am still a bit creeped out!

One a positive note, without the Hubby, I will have plenty of time to write on my blog. I might even write something interesting!

You know what makes me mad???

I have been extremely quiet this election season, but I just can't stand it any longer! The media has just gone too far to the left. They are willing to do anything to get Obam elected! Including eluding the world from the truth with anything they can dig up on anyone else.

Yes I am talking about "Joe the Plumber". Who is Joe? What does it matter? It could be any one of us? He is a guy that asked Obam a question at a rally or wherever it was that he answered truthfully. But then Obam looked bad for saying he wanted to take Joe's money and give it to the poor. So now Obam looks like he supports wealth re-distribution, and socialism. So what does the media do? They go after "Joe" to discredit him like he is on the McCain ticket, or like he has written a tell all book about him in a negative light! He is just a guy, like the rest of us. A real human, with real concerns. He is the blue collar worker that Obam is trying so hard to prove that he is one of.

Why doesn't the media talk about the real important stories? Why don't they dig into Obam's past and see who he really is? They dug more into Joe's past. I know more about him than I do Obam......

Another thing that really annoys me ...... Remember when Hill and Obam were fighting it out? And how they kept saying that we need to take our country back from the republicans..... Then on the other hand we need to come together? Well you can't have it both ways. Either we are one nation or we are 2 parties. Make up your mind! I was extremely insulted by their accusations. And then the way they kissed and made up afterwards... Give me a break! They give me heartburn!

If Babs is such a supporter of Obam, and all that he says that he stands for then why doesn't she give to the poor as well and drop the price of her concerts so everyone can see her instead of the elite? I think you need to drop at least $200.00 a ticket to see her sing. What a bunch of hypocrites. Are the others in hollywood willing to make less on a movie so that the everyday Joe can go? It is called Capitalism and whether they admit it or not, they are capitalist!

Not to mention the double standard of the way they treat women. They claim that we should have a woman in the Whitehouse, but not this woman. Sara Palin is strong, but remains a woman. Yes she is prolife, and yes she can shoot a moose. She is as far removed from Washington as you can get. But she will not rollover because someone says too and that is what we need.

I am not saying that McCain or Obam is the answer, but those are the choices out there. I do think that the coverage should be fair, and impartial.

It's getting colder!

Immigration, the boys and life in general

All is pretty nice on the homefront! I am enjoying being a wife and the mother of 2 adorable Scottish Terriers.
We don't have any major ups and downs, even with the US about to go bust, it has not affected us. I took a small loan against the house and paid off all my debt. My car is only 2 years old so we won't need a new one anytime soon. We also bought the hubby a car, a nice 2003 Ford Expedition. We got a great deal on that , and it was in super condition. Now we have a mortgage here and one on the house in England. The good news is that we have equity in both places. Alot more here than there.
The house is coming together great! The bar is where we spend most of our time, not because we are drunks, but the room is very cozy!

My husband was sent back to England on Sunday. His visa waiver is up, so we are hoping that when he tries to return in 2 weeks there won't be any issues. We went on a cruise to the Bahamas for 2 days hoping that would do the trick, but it did not. US Immigration is now 2 months behind in processing the visas. When we first applied it took 6 months, now we are up to 8. The problem there is that the hubby can not apply for a work visa until he gets the other visa! So we are hoping that we do not run out of money!
